JD (U) will not make alliance to Karnataka by-election for Congress

New delhi date. 2 November 2019, Saturday

JD (Janata Dal Secular) party has taken the edge off the Congress after the coalition government's bitter experience with the Congress in Karnataka.

JDS leader Kumaraswamy clarified that my party will not affiliate with any party in the next by-elections and will contest independently.

With the by-elections, the political movement in Karnataka has become brighter. Earlier, Kumaraswamy has talked about supporting the BJP. On October 29, he said that the BJP government in Karnataka should not be overthrown. Our party will support the BJP if needed.

It is worth mentioning that, before this, the JDS and the Congress formed a coalition government in Karnataka, but dissatisfaction between the two parties had surfaced on Tuesday. Kumar Swami had publicly expressed his dissatisfaction.
