New Delhi, November 7, 2019, Thursday

After the results of the Assembly elections in Maharashtra, the government is not yet formed. New drama is being witnessed on a daily basis between Shiv Sena and BJP, which is contesting coalition elections.

Now, for the first time, Nitin Gadkari, the veteran leader of Maharashtra and minister of the Modi government, has commented on the issue. He hoped that the Shiv Sena would be reconciled, saying that both the parties had a majority and the government would be of both parties.

Rejecting the speculation that he was going to become CM, Gadkari said, "I am in Delhi and cannot question Maharashtra." Talks with the Shiv Sena are underway to form a government. As far as the BJP is concerned, Devendra Fadnavis has been chosen as our leader and should have a government under his leadership. The BJP has got 105 seats. The party that wins the most seats becomes the party's chief minister.

Regarding the meeting with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat today, he said that the union has nothing to do with the matter.
