According to the Meteorological Department, the snowfall started on Thursday which was continued on Friday while the snowfall continued on Saturday. The administration has advised people to be careful, especially as nighttime temperatures have dropped below the alert.

It is also predicted that moderate to heavy rainfall is forecast over several regions of Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Uttarakhand besides Jammu and Kashmir over the next 24 hours. While deficient rainfall in the valley has impacted the farmers. Thousands of apple orchards were destroyed.

Farmers say this is the first time we've seen such snow in the first week of November. Many farmers' apple trees have been badly damaged in the valley. In addition, experts say that after the removal of Article 370, business in Kashmir has already been severely affected and loss of crores of rupees has been made.

Due to the slight snowfall in such a situation, the situation has made the situation worse. There was no preparation for the administration to deal with this deficient rainfall, which has resulted in huge losses.

On the other hand, Jammu and Kashmir highway has been closed due to heavy snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir. About 3,000 vehicles were stranded on the highway.

The only national highway connecting Jammu and Kashmir to other parts of the country was closed and people were in serious trouble. While heavy machinery is being used for the disposal of vehicles.

Not only this highway but other major roads were closed due to snowfall in Kashmir. Informing about the current situation in Kashmir, an official said that all the highways in Kashmir have been closed. It has also started snowing in Kargil. Following this, precautionary measures are also being taken.
