Five thousand foreign birds killed in Rajasthan, suspected of poisoning in water

Thousands of exotic birds have been mysteriously killed in Rajasthan. These birds have been found dead in the Sunar area near Jaipur here. According to official figures, 1,500 birds have been killed so far. While housewives claim that 5,000 birds have died.

"We have never seen such an epidemic of birds in the area till now," said Abhinav Vaishnav, a local resident. Five thousand birds have died in a very mysterious manner. This area in Rajasthan is known for its exotic birds. Thousands of birds come here every year. The exact cause of the death of these birds has not yet been determined.

Birds that have been killed include exotic birds such as plover, common coot, dark-winged stilt, northern shovel, red shield. Preliminary investigations claim that these birds may have been killed by drinking poisonous water in the lake here.

While forest rangers believe that the cause of these birds' deaths may be catastrophic events. At present, the Rajasthan government has also directed the laboratory and other investigations team to find out the exact cause of death.

Thousands of birds visit the San Jill every year. Including birds like swan, gargana, gulls etc. According to Forest Ranger Rajendra Zakar, there are around 50,000 swan and 1 lakh Vader in the area every year. It has also been reported that the birds did not come in this period but the primary steps were not taken by the administration.

Bird lovers are also demanding that proper water scrutiny be made during this period every year. Currently there is a confusion between statistics. Housewives claim five thousand birds have been killed while 1,500 have been killed, according to a government report.
