Ayodhya dispute verdict: justice has shaken our faith - Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind

New Delhi, Nov 11, 2019, Monday

"The verdict is unjustified and the facts and evidence have been grossly neglected," he said. Thus, most people accepted the verdict and welcomed it, but some minority leaders expressed different views on the verdict.

Andhra Pradesh Muslim leader Asaduddin Owaisi and several others expressed their views against the ruling. Owaisi said Muslims should decline the offer of five acres. I would like to ask whether the Supreme Court would have given such a verdict even if the controversial structure in 1992 was not demolished? It should be clarified.

An English newspaper from Kolkata interviewed several people who were considered the common men of Muslim society. Those people also condemned the verdict. Citing the words of an auto mechanic from Capital New Delhi, the mechanic said that we have seen a barbarian magic break in front of our eyes. We trusted the judiciary that one day we would get justice. But our faith in the judiciary that we have sustained for 27 years has finally been broken. We have not received justice.
