Approval of impeachment proceedings against Trump allowed, know what matters

New Delhi, November 1, 2019, Friday

A proposal to impeachment action against US President Donald Trump has been approved.

The House of Representatives of the American Parliament voted Thursday to propose an impeachment proceeding against the president. The proposal had 232 votes in favor and 196 votes in opposition. The proposal for the impeachment has been approved by the Democratic Party.

Trump is accused of pushing the Ukrainian government against his rival Joe Biden and his son to investigate corruption in a gas company in Ukraine.

There is talk of a public inquiry led by Ed Schiff, the chairman of the committee for secret affairs in the proposal against Trump. Committee chairman McGovern said, "We have enough evidence to prove that Trump abused his authority, compromised national security and the electoral process."

In addition, the four committees say that during the investigation, there has been some other evidence that will be placed before the American public.

Six committees will investigate the impeachment proposal. If the case against Trump seems more serious then it will be referred to a judicial committee. If the investigation does not find evidence against Trump, he will continue as president. But if the evidence found in the assertions made by the committees will be voted in Parliament again for imposing various clauses against Trump. If the impeachment fever has more votes then the proposal will be forwarded to the Senate. Where there will be a re-hearing and a vote will be made to decide whether or not to accuse Trump.

However, in order to oust Trump, 20 Republican MPs must vote against him. Which is unlikely. Because Trump himself is already affiliated with the Republican Party. Even so, no major impeachment process has been eliminated in American history to this day. This was before the impeachment process against 17th President Andrew Johnson and 42nd President Bill Clinton. Which did not succeed.
