Allahabad High Court's senior justice Takhar Aggarwal records more than 1.5 lakh cases in 15 years

There is also a judge in the country that reports that hundreds of thousands of cases have been dropped in various courts of the country and decades goes by when each case is settled. Who has disposed of over one lakh cases in the last fifteen years.

This is the case of senior judge of the Allahabad High Court, Takhar Agrawal. In the last fifteen years, he has disposed of one lakh, 30 thousand 418 cases in a manner that satisfies both parties. His record was recorded on 31st October 2019.

Some of the cases were really complex and very important such as the liberation of 45 villages from the hold of Rani of Shankargarh, controversy of Shankaracharya position in the astrology bench, Ram Janmabhoomi dispute, treatment of government employees in government hospitals etc.

He is the only judge in the country's judiciary who set this record. Originally a resident of Firozabad in Uttar Pradesh, Justice Takhar Aggarwal started his career as a lawmaker on October 5, 1980, after graduating from Agra University and pursuing a law degree at Meerut University. He was made High Court Judge on October 5th, 2005 and has been made a Permanent Judge since 2007.
