Ajit Pawar has committed a grave sin, betrayed Maharashtra voters: Sanjay Raut

Mumbai Ta: 23 Nov 2019. Saturday

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, who saw plans to set up his own government in Maharashtra, had revolted that Ajit Pawar had committed a grave sin.

Ajit Pawar has betrayed his uncle and political guru Sharad Pawar and the people of Maharashtra. He expressed his sovereignty by joining hands with the BJP.

In fact, on Friday night Ajit Pawar took oath as Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra at six o'clock this morning in secret talks with BJP's Devendra Fadnavis. The incident caused the party, including the Shiv Sena, to fall asleep.

Raut also said that money laundering cases are being raised against Ajit Pawar. He may have been scared of the Enforcement Directorate's steps, so joined hands with the BJP and got out of the legal proceedings now.

Until Friday evening, there was talk that maybe Uddhav Thackeray would not be ready to take over as Maharashtra's chief minister if Sanjay Raut would be the chief minister.

Raut also said that Sharad Pawar was not aware of Ajit's private game. Ajit had joined hands with BJP keeping Sharad Pawar in the dark.
