Of the 16 who were disqualified by the Speaker from the Karnataka assembly, BJP took 13 to their own party and fielded them for the by-election on December 5.

Sixteen lawmakers joined the BJP today on the very day the Supreme Court approved the by-election. After Yeddyurappa became chief minister in July, disqualified MLAs who had ruined Kumar Swami's JDS-Congress government, were made available to BJP in the presence of several dignitaries.

The Supreme Court on Wednesday approved the Speaker's decision after Karnataka Assembly Speaker Ramesh Kumar disqualified 17 members of the Congress and Janata Dal-S from his house, but was allowed to contest the vacant seats due to his cause. Court rejects part of Speaker's decision to disqualify 17 MLAs There was stagnation.

13 MLAs have been kept out of their old constituency while former Municipal Corporator M. Svarnana was given a ticket from Shivaji Nagar and did not give ticket to Congress MLA, Rashan Beg, who was elected and disqualified from this constituency.

The seven-time MLA, Roshan Bag, was not taken to the BJP while 16 others were taken to the party and given a ticket to contest the by-elections.

According to BJP sources, the party's Mowdy congregation objected to carrying the bag. An investigation is underway against him in the IAM Ponzi scheme. Interestingly, on Wednesday, the former state minister, Roshan Begun, claimed that he would join the BJP along with other legislators. But the party did not take them.

According to credible sources, Beg had met the chief minister and expressed his displeasure over not taking part in the party.
