We should see Ayodhya before the demolition of Babri Masjid: demands of Muslim party

New delhi date. Monday 14 October 2019

The final trial of the Ram-Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute is going on in the Supreme Court. Rajiv Dhawan, a lawyer from the Muslim party, put his arguments in court on Monday. While putting up his arguments, Rajiv Dhawan said that we should look like Ayodhya on December 5, 1992, which was before the Babri Masjid demolition.

Monday was the last day to go to court for arguments from the Muslim party. The trial for the case is scheduled to be completed on October 17. The Muslim party's arguments are to be completed by October 14. On October 15-16, the Hindu party is to put forth its logic.

It is worth mentioning that on Monday when the trial started in Ayodhya, Rajiv Dhawan made arguments from the Muslim party. Rajiv Dhawan told the court that faith does not get land. The land of Ayodhya does not get the rights from Skanda Purana. The Hindu party is constantly referring to the faith and the Puranas in the court.

Apart from this, some questions were raised by Rajiv Dhawan in the Supreme Court. However, no statement has been issued from the court.

What happened on December 6, 1992?

In the early 90s, when the BJP left the Ram Mandir Rath Yatra, politics was heated in the country. On December 6, 1992 amid tight security in Ayodhya, the crowd, chaired by BJP leaders, was moving towards the structure of the Babri Masjid. In the first attempt, however, the police managed to stop him.

But suddenly at 12 noon, a large crowd of caravans began to climb the wall of the mosque. In a crowd of millions, the karsevak collapsed on the mosque and took over the mosque in a few minutes. What happened next was seen by the whole country and became history.
