We are ready to invest in India but do not bother us with the tax issue: Saffron

India should provide a conducive environment for business and we should not be bothered with tax and customs issues, "Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, CEO of Saffron, the engineer of the Rafal fighter jet engine, told IANS. "We want to invest $ 15 million in India," he added.

The Saffron Raffle makes a modern M-88 engine used in warplanes. The company submitted its presentation to Rajnath Singh. Rajnath Singh said on Twitter that he had visited Saffron's manufacturing unit in Villarrock near Paris. This company is renowned for its engine-making ability. The same company has also made Rafal engines.

Rajnath Singh further said that it was a joy to know that young and bright engineers of Indian origin are working in this company. His technical knowledge and his hard work are inspiring.

During the presentation, Saffron Aircraft Engines CEO Oliver Andreas said, "Our company wants to invest $ 100 million in India. However, he expressed concern about India's tax system.

Andreas said India is about to become the third largest commercial market in the aviation sector. With that in mind, we want to build a strong maintenance and repair base in India. However, we want to be sure that India's tax and customs system does not bother us.

In response, Rajnath Singh said that India is committed to providing a friendly environment for investors. Rajnath Singh has also invited Saffron to participate in the DEFXPO held in Lucknow in February.
