Sourav Ganguly leads the BCCI's presidency

Former captain and legend Sourav Ganguly will fill nominations for the post of chairman of the world's richest cricket board BCCI. The 47-year-old Ganguly's name is at the forefront for the new chairmanship.

On Monday, Ganguly arrived at the BCCI's office in Mumbai along with Ganguly's former chairperson Shri Nivasan, Rajiv Shukla and Jagmohan Dalmia. He is accompanied by Home Minister Amit Shah's son, Jai Shah, who has arrived for the post of secretary.

The BCCI elections will be held on October 23. The last date for filing nominations for this election is to be given by October 14.

Sourav Ganguly has a lot of cricket experience. It is worth mentioning that the new BCCI elected new officers will take up their positions and responsibilities following the annual general meeting on October 23.
