Human Rights Commission and Information Commission were also informed that the Jammu and Kashmir government had decided to abolish some punch.

On the fifth of August this year, the Central Government canceled the 370th Article giving special status to the state. The response was yet to be finalized.

The details were announced Wednesday afternoon. This was a very big decision. Even so, some of the laws of Jammu and Kashmir were different than before the entire country. Since October 31, when Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh become union territories, some of the previous laws will be repealed and some new laws will come into force.

The seven decisions that the state has decided to abolish include Human Rights Commission, Information Rights Commission, Consumer Grievance Redressal Commission, State Electricity Commission, Women and Child Development Commission, Special Commission for the Disabled and State Transparency Commission. The panches which are being destroyed by the state will now be directly under the control of the center and will work at the behest of the center.

It is to be remembered here that there has been frequent ho-ho in the world over the violation of human rights in Jammu and Kashmir and the Supreme Court had also applied to the matter. Some countries, including Pakistan, were constantly preaching that human rights were being violated in Jammu and Kashmir. However, these people were silent on the issue of terrorism.
