An anti-missile aircraft is being called for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Boeing's 777 aircraft are being claimed by Air India One to arrive in India by June next year.

The aircraft has anti-missile technology fitted. The aircraft will be used by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well as by President Ram Nath Kovind and Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu.

Currently all three are using Air India's Boeing B747 aircraft. According to South Block officials, the two aircraft being built at a Boeing facility in Dallas will be similar to the US President's Air Force aircraft in terms of security measures. These planes can fly between India and the United States without stopping to refuel.

Currently a chartered Boeing B747 aircraft from Air India is more than two decades old. President Ramnath Kovind, who was flying in three planes last month, is 26 years old. South Block officials said the new aircraft being built will have more facilities than the existing aircraft. The new aircraft will not only provide office space for Modi, but also a meeting room and communication facilities.

The agreement was signed in February this year for $ 19 million (approximately Rs 1400 crore). The US was ready to ship in February this year. About $ 19 million was agreed to install anti-missile technology in Air India One. The central government has approved Air India One for VVIP protection.

Air India has replaced the jumbo jet that has been serving the distinguished people for over two decades. These planes have the most advanced features. The aircraft will have such technology that if there is a missile around it, it will know and jam it.
