Praful Patel's flat in Iqbal Mirchi's building? ED sent a summons

ED has issued summons to Nationalist Congress Party leader and former Union Minister Praful Patel. Inquiries will be taken on the properties of his CJ House.

ED claims that the property belongs to Iqbal Mirchi, a close associate of Dawood Ibrahim. Praful Patel owns two flats at CJ House and in 2007 an agreement was signed to develop the property.

Iqbal Mirchi was killed in 2013. Iqbal Mirchi was a collaborator of the Underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. According to sources linked to the ED, the investigating agency has information that in 2007, a contract between Iqbal Mirchi and Praful Patel in connection with a CJ house property was negotiated.

Praful Patel denied the allegations

It is against this cell deed that Praful Patel has signed the document as co-owner. Praful Patel owns two flats in CJ House. However, the former minister has denied any wrongdoing.

According to sources, during the investigation it has been alleged that the third and fourth floors of the building were transferred by Iqbal Mirchi's family to Praful Patel in 2007.
