Pakistan fails to take action against terrorists despite warning: FATF

New delhi date. October 9, 2019, Wednesday

Pakistan is openly helping terrorists in every way. Following that, Pakistan is now keeping an eye on the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). The agency monitors the financial transactions and funding of countries around the world. The agency introduced it to avoid financing Pakistan terrorists, though there are reports that it has no effect on Pakistan.

The meeting of this agency is going to be held in Paris, which is now days of reckoning. The period of warning issued by the agency to Pakistan is also about to expire. FATF's Asia Group has said that Pakistan has not taken appropriate steps to implement UN Security Council Resolution 1267.

He is soft on the UN-backed terrorists, such as Hafiz Saeed, Masood Azhar and LeT, Jamaat-ud-Dawa, and has not taken any appropriate steps. It is noteworthy that the FATF meeting is to be held on October 13-18. There will be a decision on Pakistan on terror funding. Pakistan is currently on the gray list, and can be blacklisted at any time.

FATF Paris is a global organization that aims to curb any illegal financial assistance in the world. This organization can now blacklist Pakistan at any time. Now this organization has issued a report saying that we have warned Pakistan about terrorism millions of times, but Pakistan has not taken any action.

The APG in its Mutual Evaluation Report of Pakistan stated in its new report that Pakistan recognizes the danger posed by active terrorist organizations along with money laundering and terror funding and understands it later. Pakistan has not taken any aggressive action against UN-designated terrorists and its organizations.
