Today is the birthday of the second Prime Minister of India, Lal Bahadur Shastri. Shastri, who jumped into India's freedom struggle from the age of 16, expressed his views on Pakistan when Azad became India's prime minister. He said that the most special thing about India is that it lives here with Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Parsis and other religions. There are temples, mosques, gurudwaras and churches. The birth of the second Prime Minister of Azad India, Lal Bahadur Shastri, is also celebrated on October 2. The life of Lal Bahadur Shastri is inspiring for every young man who lives a life of lack. His journey between lesser facilities and becoming the Prime Minister of the country is inspiring. He devoted his life to serving the poor. Shastriji was born in 1904 in Mughalsarai in Uttar Pradesh. He played a vital role in making India a strong nation. He was a minister in the cabinet of Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. He was handling departments such as the Railways and the Ministry of the Interior.

After he graduated from Kashi Vidyapeeth, he received the title of Shastri. He then removed his name from the Verma tribe. In India, a red and brave shastri led to a white and green revolution. Shastriji was associated with the Green movement. He loved the soldiers as much as he loved the peasants so he gave the gift of Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan Nara to the country. Each of his political opinions lived for the common people of the country. He once said, "What is the reaction to the governance of the people who rule, they should see. Because the people are the king.

Lal Bahadur Shastri considered Mahatma Gandhi a guru. He had the same idea as Mahatma Gandhi. He was influenced by Bapu's ideas. In 1964, when Lal Bahadur Shastri became Prime Minister, there was a war between India and Pakistan in 1965. In the meantime there was a famine in the country and there was a shortage of grain. In it, he appealed to the countrymen to fast and save food once a week. Shastriji's appeal began to be followed at the restaurant with the people.

Lal Bahadur Shastri was 8 months old when his father Sharda Prasad passed away. Then his mother Ramdulari Devi nurtured them. He went to his uncle to obtain higher studies. He used to go to school everyday, several miles away, on an open foot. Lal Bahadur Shastri was the youngest in his family and hence he was called Nanhe.
