Modi-Shah uses Article 370 as a political tool for elections

The Congress, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party president Amit Shah, used the BJP as a political tool in the Maharashtra and Haryana assembly elections for the elimination of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir.

Problems like poverty, malnutrition, unemployment in states other than Jammu and Kashmir: Sibal

The Congress accused the BJP of gaining political advantage over the issue of elimination of Article 370, saying that Modi should also tell the people that the Congress had split Pakistan into two.

Besides, senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal also claimed that Modi and Shah were giving false information to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Sibal said that Modiji only remembered Article 370. They do not say who divided Pakistan. Tell the people of Haryana that the Congress was divided into two parts.

Besides, Modi only speaks of Article 370. But they are not referring to the implementation of Article 47 of the Constitution, which states that the government is responsible for raising the health and living standards of the people, the level of nutrition.

93% of children in the country suffer from malnutrition and you speak of Article 370. Modi and Shah say that Jammu and Kashmir has not developed due to Article 370 but they mislead the people of the country.

Kapil Sibal said that the situation in Jammu and Kashmir is better than Haryana, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat on criteria like poverty, malnutrition, unemployment, human development index.

The senior Congress leader claimed that the poverty rate in Jammu and Kashmir was 10.35 percent while Maharashtra was 17.35, Haryana 11.16, Gujarat 16.63 percent, Uttar Pradesh 29.43 percent.

The unemployment rate in Jammu and Kashmir is 5.3 per cent and in Haryana it is 28.7 per cent.
