Result on October 24: Coalition clash against coalition

In Maharashtra, 96 (59 per cent) and 83 (57 per cent) candidates of Congress filed criminal cases against them.

All the seats in Maharashtra, Haryana, while other by-elections are going on in other states. The results of this election, which is going to be held on the 21st, will be announced on the next 24th.

The leaders, on the other hand, were very active in campaigning, the election campaign was completed on Saturday. Voting will be held on May 21 in all the 288 seats in Maharashtra and all 90 seats in Haryana.

If we look at Haryana, the BJP is in power here and there are a total of 90 seats in the Assembly. The term of the Legislative Assembly is going to be completed on November 2 in Haryana. There are a total of 1.82 crore voters in the state. In Haryana, there will be a clash between the Congress and the BJP as well as other smaller parties.

While Maharashtra has a total of 288 seats, BJP is in power here and there is a total of 8.97 crore voters.

In both the states of Maharashtra and Haryana, the candidates who have fielded BJP and Congress have a criminal history of many candidates. According to information given by these candidates to the Election Commission, the ruling BJP has fielded 162 candidates in the field. Of these, 59 per cent means 96 candidates against whom criminal cases are registered.

And this is a very serious crime against 59 of the 96 candidates. Similarly, in Maharashtra, 83 per cent of the Congress candidates are 57 per cent against whom criminal cases are registered. And there are 44 candidates against whom the most serious cases are filed.

These serious cases include murder, attempted murder. If you look at the millionaire candidates, there are 1007 crorepatis in Maharashtra. These 1007 candidates are those who have assets worth at least one crore rupees.

The figure was 32 percent in the 2014 election. The highest percentage of the ruling BJP is 155 ie 96 per cent candidates are millionaires while the Congress also has 126 ie 86 per cent candidates are millionaires. Similarly, Shiv Sena's 94 and NCP's 87 candidates also have assets worth over one crore rupees.

BJP's Mumbai candidate Shah owns assets worth Rs 500 crore

The wealth of candidates who are currently in the fray in Maharashtra is also heavily debated. Most of the candidates in both the BJP and the Congress are millionaires, but Parag Shah, a BJP candidate, has shown his wealth in excess of 500 crores.

The only other BJP candidate, Mangal Prabhat Lodha, is the second richest candidate in the state with assets worth Rs 441 crore. While Congress candidate Sanjay Jagtap has assets worth Rs 245 crore.

Bye-election: End of campaigning on 51 assembly and two Lok Sabha seats

The campaign for by-elections was completed on Saturday in 51 constituencies and two Lok Sabha seats on October 21st in 18 states of the country. Of the 51 seats in the Assembly that are scheduled for by-elections, 30 are currently with the BJP, 12 are with the Congress and the other is with the regional parties.

With the overwhelming majority in the Lok Sabha under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP is hopeful that the victory of the Lok Sabha elections will continue. In the states ruled by BJP and its allies, Uttar Pradesh is holding by-elections on the highest number of 11 seats.

After that, there will be six by-elections in Gujarat, five in Bihar, four in Assam and four in Himachal Pradesh and Tamil Nadu in two by-elections.

In other states, four seats are to be held in Punjab, five seats in Kerala, 3 seats in Sikkim, two seats in Rajasthan, Arunachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Puducherry, Meghalaya and one each in Telangana.

Apart from the Assembly, the election campaign for Satara and Maharashtra's Samastipur Lok Sabha seats has also been completed. The meetings were with the NCP and the LJP.

While assembly elections are being held in Maharashtra and Haryana, by-elections will be held in 51 states and two Lok Sabha seats in 18 states of the country. There is an opportunity for the BJP to consolidate its position in the respective states by winning these seats.

19 per cent of the total cases of crime in Maharashtra

Along with Haryana, Maharashtra is also going to hold elections in all the assembly seats. Currently, statistics on serious crime cases are registered on 19 per cent of the total candidates in Maharashtra.

Of the total number of candidates in Maharashtra, there are 916 candidates against whom different cases are filed. And among these candidates, there are 67 candidates against whom the crime against women has been registered and four have also filed a rape case.
