Pakistan earlier invited former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to the inauguration of Kartarpur corridor. On this, the Government of India said that Manmohan Singh has to take a decision on the invitation.

Staff at the Manmohan Singh office said that they have not received any invitation yet and if they receive the invitation, Manmohan Singh will not go. Manmohan Singh was born in Gah village, which is now in Pakistan.

Manmohan Singh was Prime Minister for 10 years but did not go to Pakistan. Last year, Imran Khan promised to open Kartarpur corridor for Indians after taking oath as Prime Minister. Recently, Punjab Government Minister Sukhjinder Randhawa said that those who want to visit Kartarpur Sahib in Pakistan should apply online one month ago.

The website will be launched within a couple of days for online management. If the application is canceled for any reason, those people will be able to apply again after four days.
