Kairana Speaker MLA Nahid Hassan fled

Nahid Hasan of Samajwadi Party MLA from Kairana seat of Uttar Pradesh assembly was declared a runaway offender. Nahid has registered 12 offenses including murder and ransom. Nahid fled to avoid his detention.

After a local court declared him a fugitive, ways of confiscating Nahit's property were now open. Talking to media, Shamli district superintendent of police Ajay Kumar said that a public announcement today had informed people that Nahid Hasan had been declared a fugitive. There are eight offenses against him in Shamli and four in Saharanpur.

The list also includes the crime of intimidating the poor and the oppressed. Many people came forward to file a complaint against him. Various police teams have been deployed to arrest him. Now steps will be taken to confiscate their property.

Nahid Hassan belongs to a very strong political family. His mother Tabassum Hassan twice became a member of the Lok Sabha from the Kairana parliamentary seat, and his father Munwar Hassan was a member of both the Houses of Parliament and the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. Thus his background is very powerful.
