The friendship between Akshay Kumar and John Abraham is good. Both had done it with a cult film like 'Garam Masala'. The audience liked the film too.
Akshay and Jon are known for doing films like Patriotism. His films on the subject have also minted at the box office. Films like Airlift, Rustam, Mission Mars, Atomic, Bottlehouse, Satyamev Jayate both made money. But now both stars have turned to comedy films. Following the patriotism, the multi-starrer is adding a new formula to hitting the Desi Boys in comedy films.
It is worth mentioning that, Akshay Kumar's 'Housefull 3' and John's 'Pagalpanti' are comedy films. Both of these trailers have just been released, making it clear that these films will earn a decent box office.
Movie distribution is a tough place for filmmakers new to the grind. It's hard to switch off the creative mind to deal with the business side of selling movies.
