New delhi date. Wednesday 30 October 2019
More than four days have passed since the Maharashtra Assembly election results were announced but the equation for the new government has not been clear so far. There is a political rift between the BJP and the Shiv Sena. In the meantime NCP has made a big announcement.
NCP leader Praful Patel said on Wednesday that we have received a mandate to sit in opposition but if the situation changes then we can think. He said that now all roads are open and need will be considered if the situation changes.
Earlier, the NCP's Chhagan Bhujbal had also asked the Shiv Sena to leave the BJP and join him. However, no statement has come from the Shiv Sena. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut had said that if the BJP does not adhere to the coalition religion, the Shiv Sena has other options.
