Chandigarh, Ta. Saturday 5th October 2019

At least five people, including three children, were killed in a collapsed King's Palace wall in the Ambala Cantonment late Friday. The wall is said to have collapsed due to a government parking lot behind King's Palace. Police investigation was ongoing.

The wall of the King Palace was slumped over. Due to this, three children of a Muslim family sleeping in the slum were crushed under the wall. As the Assembly elections are getting underway in Haryana, it is a tragedy that soon, the daughter of BJP, Congress and a former minister who is contesting as an independent candidate fled to the scene and offered financial help to the bereaved families.

According to the first report, the wall of the palace was weakened due to the parking plot behind the King Palace. The result was a late night rush. Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij ordered an investigation into the incident. The injured were shifted to the hospital for treatment.
