Gorakhpur Jail clash between two groups over eating: Police threw

An incident involving law and order in Uttar Pradesh of Yogi took place in jail. There was a clash between the two groups over eating in the Yogi home city jail in which the prisoners of both groups were released. Police personnel were also hit. On Friday morning, two groups came face to face with an earlier incident.

On Thursday, two prisoners were killed by prison officials, who attacked the opposing group in their favor. However, officials said no such incident had happened in the jail. The city's ADM said there was some headwind between the two groups over eating. One group complained that the meal was bad, while the other group said that it was prepared by the prisoners.

According to the District Magistrate, when a police constable tried to resolve a dispute between the two groups, both groups clashed. However, all disputes were resolved and the situation was under control. No one was injured in the incident. Upon receiving the news that two groups were fighting in the jail, police were sent to Kumak.

Some of the demands of the prisoners led to demonstrations and protests in the jail. According to sources, two prisoners were stabbed to death by police officers on Thursday night. There was a brawl between the prisoners of barracks number one and the police officers shot the prisoners at night.
