Britain's Labor Party leader Jeremy Corbyn has raised the Kashmir issue after meeting with a congressional delegation. Corbyn said efforts should be made to reduce tensions in Kashmir and prevent violence. Congress has been in contention since Corbin's statement.

Jeremy Corbyn is the same leader who passed a resolution in the Labor Party against the Modi government over the removal of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and disqualified India's action.

However, there was opposition from Corbin against the Labor Party on this issue, and Indians in Britain called Corbyn's actions anti-India. After a meeting with congressional delegates, Corbin said the meeting with British representatives of the Congress party in India was very good.

In this meeting, we discussed the human rights situation in Kashmir. Stress needs to be alleviated and the atmosphere of prolonged violence and fear in Kashmir should be abolished.

The BJP has attacked the Congress over a meeting with Pakistan-backed Labor Party leader Jeremy Corbyn. The BJP said the Congress leaders should answer why Congress leaders had a meeting with Pakistan-backed Jeremy Corbyn and what was discussed in the meeting.

BJP tweeted, "Fear-makers! The people of the country are asking Congress to explain what their leaders have said to foreign leaders. On the other side, Congress has come to the rescue. At this meeting, Congress leader Anand Sharma said that Congress had made it clear on August 6th that Kashmir was an internal matter of India.

Indian Overseas Congress President Kamal Dhaliwal, General Secretary Gurminder Randhawa were present at the meeting with Jeremy. Kamal Dhaliwal is celebrated close to former Congress president Rahul Gandhi. Disputing the issue, the Indian Overseas Congress revealed that they had met him to oppose Corbyn's stance on the Kashmir issue.
