Delhi pollution increased alarmingly in Diwali

In the wake of the Supreme Court's directive, the blasphemy fireworks spread in the capital city of New Delhi had increased the pollution alarmingly. There was an increase in toxins in the air.

According to doctors, the percentage of patients coming to the OPD in hospitals increased by 30%. Complaints of respiratory illness, burning of eyes, tingling, etc. were earlier than Diwali and were much worse than now.

Thus, the pollution of Diwali had already become alarming. The smoke of some substances being burned in the neighboring states polluted the capital's air. That is why the Supreme Court advised to restrain fireworks. But people were drunk on that advice.

On Wednesday, foggy pollution was seen in most areas in Delhi almost all day. Dr Anand Mohan, head of the pulmonology area at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, told the media that increasing pollution worsens the situation.
