Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit India, hold a meeting with the PM in Mahabalipur

Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit India in the second week of the current month and visit Mahabalipuram near Chennai in southern India. The Prime Minister will then hold an informal summit meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

This will be the second informal meeting between the two leaders. Earlier, the two leaders met each other at a convention held in Wuhan, China, in April last year.
