Bhopal's roads will become as beautiful as Hema Malini's cheeks: P C. Sharma

Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shiv Raj Chauhan has strongly criticized Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath's statement that Bhopal's dirt roads will soon become like the cheeks of film actress Hema Malini.

Expressing concern over the ill-health of the roads, the state labor minister said that the roads in Bhopal were narrow and rough, as was the cheeky cheek of BJP general secretary Kailash Vijay Varghese.

Chauhan repeatedly attacked the Congress leaders and said, "How can these ministers compare the roads with someone's cheek?" This statement reflects the thinking of the Congress. ”Chauhan rejected the report that Chauhan was in the fray for taking any constitutional position in Madhya Pradesh.

The present roads are inappropriate for comparing the cheeky streets of BJP leader Vijayvargiya with a cheeky one: Chauhan

Chavan, the former chief minister of the state, said this following the statement made by opposition leader Gopal Bhargava in the state assembly. Bhargava on Tuesday in Zambia, where elections are to be held, said that after the by-election results on October 21, BJP candidate Bhanu Bhuria would be the chief minister of Chauhan region. Chauhan was also present on the stage when Bhargava made this statement.

Bhargava said that this was just an election statement. As far as I am concerned, I do not try for any position. My only wish is to live and serve the hearts of the 7.5 million people of the state ”.

"If I had imagined that I would have become the Chief Minister of the state anytime soon after the outcome of the 2018 assembly elections," Chauhan said. It is worth mentioning that fifteen years later, Congress won power in Madhya Pradesh by winning a slim majority in the last assembly elections. Chauhan said that Bhargava did not say anything wrong in view of the sentiments of the people.
