An NBFC in the country will pay Rs. 2186 crore loan was given

In 1993, a Rs 2186 crore loan was taken from NBFC in the name of Rabia Mansion, Maryam Lodge and Sea View, three properties belonging to mastermind Dawood Ibrahim's close ally Iqbal Mirchi.

Iqbal Mirchi, a close relative of Dawood Ibrahim, sent the money out of the country.

The ED has disclosed that three assets belonging to the D-Company were used by Iqbal Mirchi to remit large sums of money. ED claimed that during the investigation it was found that Rabia Mansion, Maryam Lodge and Sea View were used by Iqbal Mirchi to send around Rs 2100 crore to Dubai.

According to an ED document, Ranjit Bindra confessed to meeting with Iqbal Mirchi in London during the interrogation. The meeting was held as a broker and representative of Sunblink Real Estate Private Limited for the above three properties.

The document states that Ranjit Bindra also confessed the delivery of checks related to the agreement. The delivery was in the name of fake rental and was done to Rinku Deshpande.

Ranjit Bindra further said that Rinku Deshpande's family had contact with Iqbal Mirchi and his family. He was also aware that Sunblink Real Estate Private Limited had made a large transaction of Rs 2186 crore on these three companies.

Ranjit Bindra is a relative of Congress leader Baba Siddiqui. Loans given to NBFCA property developer Sunblink Real Estate are also under investigation. According to ED officials, Sunblink's promoters paid bank accounts in the UAE and other countries.

These accounts were associated with Iqbal Mirchi and other Dons of the D Company. ED has also taken a statement from the director of the case against Iqbal Mirchi, Sunblink. One of Sunny's other companies, Contemporary Retail Private Limited, got a loan from HDIL. In 2012, HDIL promoter Rakesh Sarang gave Praful Patel ten times to use his jet.
