Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will celebrate Dussehra by worshiping arms in the city of Bordeaux, France. Rajnath Singh will perform this puja after the first raffle jet is delivered to the Bordeaux.

Rajnath Singh will also fly to Rafael on the same day at the French Air Force Base. Sources said that the Defense Minister will depart on a three-day trip to France on October 7, where India will be given the first raffle on the day of the Indian Air Force's landing.

France plans to hand over a total of 36 raffle aircraft to India. According to sources, he will also fly to Rafael after worshiping. Rajnath Singh has also been conducting 'puja puja' for the past few years, including his tenure as the Union Home Minister in the previous NDA government.

Rajnath Singh will meet French President Emmanuel Macro in Paris before departing for France to Bordeaux and is expected to discuss defense and security relations between the two countries.

The raffle jet hand over ceremony will be held at the Dassault Aviation unit in Marignac, Bordeaux. Although Rajnath Singh will get the first Rafale jet on Tuesday, the first batch of four aircraft will arrive in India in May next year.

"The Defense Minister will participate with the French Armed Forces Minister Florence Parle in the Rafael Handing Over program in Marginac," Defense Ministry spokesman Bharat Bhushan Babu said. Subsequently, Rajnath Singh will hold an annual defense dialogue with Parle, in which both sides will discuss strengthening defense and security relations.

Rajnath Singh will address CEOs of leading French defense companies on October 9, in which he is expected to call on French companies to take part in 'Make in India' defense sector in India.
