Pakistan is infiltrating heavily on the border. Last year, however, the intrusion rate had risen to such an extent that it had surpassed every infiltration statistic that was considered a matter of concern.

According to data released by the government, Jammu and Kashmir had the highest infiltration effort in the last five years in 2018 and the highest number of terrorists were infiltrated in the same year.

According to data released by the Home Ministry, 257 terrorists were killed during the year 2018-2019, while 91 security personnel were also martyred. This is considered to be the biggest casualty in Kashmir in the last five years. 39 civilians were also killed during the same period.

Pakistan also tried to infiltrate its own terrorists 328 times last year. Although Pakistan managed to infiltrate 143 out of 328 times, that means that terrorists have infiltrated Kashmir in the last year.

Likewise many attempts to infiltrate were also unsuccessful. Pakistan tried to infiltrate 419 times in 2017. 136 times Pakistan was successful. Pakistan attempted to infiltrate 371 times in 2016 and was successful only 119 times.

This year Pakistan has also tried to infiltrate several terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. And this figure is increasing day by day. As more terrorists penetrated in 2017, more terrorists penetrated last year.

However, the opposition is equally successful in killing terrorists. Military operations have been made more aggressive. And every point has been traced from where Pakistan is infiltrating terrorists.
