We are ready to hand over Mehul Choksi India: Antiguo

New Delhi, September 26, 2019, Thursday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent visit to the United States was successful in many ways. Most importantly, the Caribbean country of Antigua and Barbuda Prime Minister Gaston Brown said that we will hand over India to the fugitive Mehul Choksi, who fled the multi-crore rupee. "We are ready for extradition of Mehul Choksi," he said.

Talking to an Indian TV channel, he said that we were just watching the court order. Once the court gives a green flag, we will assign Mehul Choux to the Government of India. We know that Chosi is the culprit of India.

Brown said that no one wants to say that Mehul Choksi lives in our country. It's only a matter of time before his extradition. They have some constitutional right because of the citizenship of our country and therefore it is not in our government's right to expel them. Make sure we assign it to India as soon as the court leaves.

He added that Mehul Choksi is a cheating man, Indian security agencies can come to our country and inquire if he wants. We do not mind. However, Mehul Choksi himself has to agree because otherwise he can claim a human rights violation.

It may be recalled here that in January last year, reports surfaced that Mehul Choksey had fled the country with the Punjab National Bank scamming Rs 14,000 crore. He is a runaway criminal. In the meantime, he claimed that his health was not good.
