The possibility of judgment in the Supreme Court over the ban on Article 370 and Kashmir

An important hearing will be heard on Monday in the Supreme Court against the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. Eight PILs, including Congress leaders, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Sitaram Yechury and Waiko, are likely to get the verdict. The Supreme Court is likely to pass judgment on the ban in the Kashmir Valley.

In Jammu and Kashmir, a number of petitions have been filed in the Supreme Court against the removal of Article 370 and the ban imposed there, which is under trial. The Supreme Court is scheduled for hearing on 8 PILs registered on the Kashmir issue on Monday.

Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad has filed a petition against the provision of restructuring Jammu and Kashmir and the sanctions imposed there, which is to be heard in the Supreme Court on Monday.

Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad made the petition on Saturday. Azad visited Kashmir twice after Article 370 was canceled from Kashmir, but he was sent back to Delhi from Srinagar Airport. Ghulam Nabi Azad has sought approval from the Supreme Court to visit his family in Kashmir.

The special bench of the three-member bench of Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde and Justice Syed Abdul Nazir in the Supreme Court on Monday challenged the imposition of a ban on Jammu and Kashmir on Monday and the restriction before it.

Sources said that some of the petitions, including Tahsin Poonawala, journalist Anuradha Bhasin, Shahela Rashid, Sitaram Yechury, Waiko and Ghulam Nabi Azad, will be heard soon.
