The Emerald Cyclone struck Houston in what is going to be a Howdy Modi event

Preparations are underway to organize a Howdy Modi program at NRG Stadium in Houston, USA. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump are here to address more than 3,000 Indian Americans. However, only a few hours after the event, Imelda cyclists have been hit hard. The tropical storm is reported to have killed five people.

An emergency has been declared in Texas to protect people from the impact of the Emerald Cyclone. As part of the vigilance, schools in some areas of Houston were forced to take holidays. With Emelda arriving in Texas on Thursday afternoon, heavy rains affected the supply of electricity. The highest rainfall was recorded in Jefferson County. In Harris County, there was water on the road just as the vehicle's wheels sank. Photos of social media being posted in social media are seen flooding around Houston. In some Texas areas, up to 8 inches of water is found. However, according to the US National Weather Service, the areas where the water is flooded are now dewy, as well as some areas where there are two to three inches of rainfall,

Texas Governor Greg Abbott said the Imelda storm was suddenly hit, indicating that climate change was indeed taking effect. Now one has to be prepared not just for hurricanes or natural disasters but for the time being that big storms can hit and heavy rains can affect lives. Imelda is the seventh most dangerous in the cyclone struck in Texas so far. A hurricane named Harvey was struck in the 8th by Imelda reminding people of the disaster. Thousands of people were rescued and moved to safer places.
