Army conducts nine-hour operation against terrorists entering home, save landlord safe

The terrorists who infiltrated Pakistan have become active in Kashmir. The state has witnessed three major terror attacks in the last 12 hours, killing six so far. However, one jawan was also martyred.

Terrorists were in the throes of a major attack on the Jammu-Kishtwar National Highway, during which the militants became aware of the firing. The militants later fled, searching for a military operation that lasted nine hours, killing three militants. In the meantime, however, a jawan was martyred.

Army's Jammu's PRO Lt. Devendra Anand said in a conversation with the media that three terrorists were killed in this operation, though we suspect that terrorists may still be hiding in the area.

The intelligence has been informed that the terrorists were preparing for a major attack on the Jammu-Kishtwar National Highway. Following which the military issued a large scale investigation. Earlier, police said that a group of five terrorists had been activated in Jammu. Despite the weather not being good in the area, the army launched a terrorist investigation campaign.

Terrorists were hiding in a house here, though the army succeeded in quietly evacuating the family members during the operation. One person was trapped in the house.

During the clash between the militants and the army, the terrorists used the house to hide. In the morning, the terrorists attacked the Quick Reaction Team (QRT) with a grenade. He later tried to escape. The terrorists later entered a house nearby. Where the army launched a massive operation against the terrorists.

So far, three militants have been killed in the operation, while one Jawan has also been killed during the operation. The state has witnessed three major terrorist attacks in 12 hours in which one Jawan was martyred while four were killed.

The arrested terrorist is Mohammad Ismail and is a resident of Jammu and Kashmir. The terrorist was picked up from the Ambala Delhi National Highway. Police began investigating a truck parked here, during which the terrorist was caught.
