Rainfall disaster in Bihar: Roads become lake, 29 killed; Breaking the 100 year record

Patna, Ta. 30 September 2019 Monday

The monsoon rains in Bihar broke the 102-year-old record. So far 29 people have died due to heavy rainfall and floods. The roads became like lakes. The rain was gloomy.

If we set a new record in case of heavy rainfall in September this year. In the last 102 years, there has never been such rainfall in September. Heavy rainfall is still forecast in at least 14 districts of Bihar.

Even now life is stagnant. The weather department had predicted more rainfall, thus intimidating the population. Local administration issued an order to close schools and colleges.

In some areas, even the first floor of the house is full of water. Where possible, people have climbed the ramp. Since there is water all around, milk is being slaughtered for drinking and tea and coffee. The black-headed human had truly become helpless in the face of the calamity of nature.

Thus, Adami had to relocate to the family of the High Court Judge Saheb living in a well, Kadam well area. If there is such a situation in a posh area then one has to imagine just how low the areas are.

A small sea was created near the bungalow of Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, while three feet of water was filled in the courtyard of BJP MP Rajiv Pratap Shukla's house. Under such circumstances it is understandable how the situation of the people would have been.

On Muzaffarpur-Sitamarhi railway line, some trains were forced to cancel and some trains had to be diverted. There is not a single road or area in Bihar where there is no water supply system.
