Kandahar, Sep 28, 2019, Saturday

During the presidential election in Afghanistan on Saturday, fanatics exploded several areas, including the southern part of the city. The explosions outside the polling stations left 16 people injured and one person dead.

Afghanistan's presidential election was held on Saturday amid intensive security arrangements. Since the election, the Taliban have warned and warned people not to vote continuously. In addition, there were explosions outside the polling booth in several areas to intimidate people during voting.

At least 15 people were injured in an explosion outside a polling station in Kandahar city and the Taliban are believed to have carried out the blast. President Ashraf Ghani voted in a polling station at a school in Kabul and said that the first demand of the people is peace and the plan is ready and recognition will be given so they will work towards peace.

There is a heated rift between President Ashraf Ghani and the country's chief executive Abdullah Abdullah in the elections. There are about 96 million registered voters in Afghanistan, and many of them have lost hope that a government can improve its status after 18 years of war. The Taliban were constantly threatening people not to vote.

And the terrorist organization carried out several suicide attacks targeting election rallies and offices in which hundreds of people lost their lives. The results are likely to be announced on October 19 and any candidate will have to get more than 50 percent of the vote to become the winner. If that doesn't happen, the ballot will be held again in November for the top two candidates.
