Partition of the country was the biggest mistake: Jitendra Singh

New delhi date. Saturday September 14, 2019

Union Minister Jitendra Singh said that the partition in 1947 was the biggest mistake in the country's independence. Some were divided to satisfy the aspirations of aspiring people. Had it not been for partition, what would have been happening on the issue of Jammu and Kashmir is not happening right now.

Addressing the World Hindi Conference held in Capital New Delhi, he said that President Gandhi had said that the split would come from my body. Gandhi was angry and upset over the decision of partition and left Delhi to go to Bengal. Partitioning our country was our biggest mistake.

The country had to be smashed to satisfy the ambition of a few. Had we understood in time, the division would have been avoided and nothing would have happened like Article 370. You decide for yourself how far or behind we have been in the event of a split.

He said the theory of dual nation proved wrong. The issue on which the theory of bipartisan theory was based was automatically proven wrong after the formation of the country of Bangladesh.
