Nirbhaya scandal in Tripura: A gang rape in a running car and throw a woman on the road

Even in Agartala, the capital of Tripura, the capital became a disgusting incident like the Nirbhaya scandal in New Delhi. A six-year-old daughter was treated at Agartala Medical College after being raped by a gang in a car running back a woman and dumped on the road.

According to police, after gang-raping the 32-year-old woman, the thugs threw her to the circuit house from where people rescued her and rushed her to the GB hospital. According to hospital sources, the woman's condition is also stable. The woman's husband lodged a complaint at the police station on Wednesday. Police arrested six of the six accused.

Mumtaz Hasina, an officer at the women's police station, said that the woman, who was identified as the rickshaw driver, was sitting with her seven-and-a-half sick daughter on Tuesday evening.

The woman protested when the rickshaw driver turned the shuttle on the other side instead of heading for her house but the driver did not listen to her. He fired a shuttle on the way saying that another passenger was to be taken. The other four men were sitting in the shuttle and gagged at the woman's mouth and tied her hands and feet. He was then thrown on the road.

The BJP MP from the area, Pratima Bhumik, called the police to investigate the incident immediately.
