Madhya Pradesh heavy rains flood Rajasthan: More than 50 thousand people are affected

Rajasthan has witnessed the effects of continuous rainfall in Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rainfall in Madhya Pradesh has led to heavy flood situation in Rajasthan. Scenes of rain have been created in areas of Rajasthan adjacent to Madhya Pradesh.

The continuous rainfall in Madhya Pradesh has caused severe floods in the Chambal River, which is common to both states. As a result, more than fifty thousand people have been affected. So, after 39 years of flood situation in Kota due to the Chambal river. In Madhya Pradesh, 1900 people have been shifted due to floods of Chambal.

In Rajasthan's Kota, 19 gates of all the barrages on the Chambal River have been opened, so that all the low lying areas have become waterlogged. Rescue operations are underway by the NDRF's Tim and the Army.

Apart from the quota, Bundi, Dhaulpur, Banswada, Jhalawar, Sawai Madhopur, Kakaroli, Pratapgarh and Chitaudgarh are also affected. From Chittorgarh, the army rescued the water-filled children at the school. The administration has declared a holiday in the schools.

More than 80 houses were flooded in flood waters in the Banswara area. Besides, the crops grown in the fields were also damaged. All employees in the flood affected area have been discharged and relief work has been carried out with the medical teams.

Medical staff has also been increased in local government hospitals. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Bidla had received information about the affected area while Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had conducted aerial inspection with the ministers.

Chief Minister Gehlot announced compensation for the affected areas. It is said to carry out survey work to compensate for the loss. Flooding has occurred in 44 villages along the Chambal river in Bhind district of Madhya Pradesh.

As a result, 1900 people have migrated. More than 900 people have been kept in government relief camps. In Bhind district, relief work is also started by NDRF and local administration.
