Kartarpur corridor to be discussed on September 4, 80% of issues have been agreed

New Delhi, September 2, 2019, Monday

India and Pakistan are scheduled to meet again on September 4 on the Kartarpur corridor.

Indian officials believe that India is building bridges on the Ravi river within its boundaries, so Pakistan should ease the route towards Gurudwara Kartarpur by building bridges on the Ravi River towards itself. Pakistan is not ready to build bridge over Ravi river.

However, the official claimed that 80 percent of the issues related to Kartarpur corridor had been agreed. Now there are only 20 percent of the issues that need to be agreed through mutual discussion.

On Wednesday morning at 10:30 pm, Pakistani officials of India will again discuss the Kartarpur corridor, said Foreign Office spokesman Dr Faisal Mahmood while talking to the media in the capital city New Delhi.
