Imran's effigy burned in Delhi over forced conversion of Sikh girl

The Sikh community in Delhi has protested against the burning of the effigy of Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan in connection with the forced conversion of a Sikh girl to Pakistan.

Last month, after the abduction of a Sikh girl in Pakistan, she was forced to embrace the Muslim faith and forcibly married her to a Muslim youth.

To oppose it, hundreds of Sikh community members gathered near the Teen Murti Marg in Lutyen area of ​​Delhi and decided to march to the Pakistan High Commission. However, they were stopped and detained by the police near Chanakyapuri police station.

Last month, a 19-year-old Sikh girl was kidnapped from Punjab province of Pakistan and forced to convert and marry a Muslim youth. The angry Sikh community of India organized protests in Delhi because of this and demanded to ensure the safety of Sikhs living in Pakistan.

Pakistan police have registered a complaint against six people in connection with the abduction of a Sikh girl and arrested Arslan, a friend of the main accused Mohammed Hassan, who is marrying the girl.

The video of the marriage of a Sikh girl with a Muslim young man on social media went viral. In the video, the young woman can be seen sitting next to Hasan and she is reportedly marrying Hasan without any pressure. The family members of the girl have sought the help of the Prime Minister of the country in the case of kidnapping and forcible conversion of her daughter by announcing the video.
