Terrorist organizations were set up by Al Badr Mujahideen in the Mendhar area here. However, due to police attention, these posters were removed immediately. The posters warned local businessmen, employees and transporters as well as petrol pump owners.

Police have launched an inquiry into the arrest of some of the suspects who posed for these posters. The grenade attack in Srinagar is suspected to have been carried out by the militants, which has led to the launch of a large-scale investigative operation in Srinagar.
