Gandhi family's son-in-law got relief, court allowed to go abroad

New Delhi, September 13, 2019, Friday

The court has given great relief to Robert Vadra, Gandhi's son-in-law and Priyanka Gandhi's husband.

Delhi's special court has allowed Vadra to travel abroad. Vadra has already been granted bail in this money laundering case.

Vadra wanted to go to Spain for eight days on business terms. On the other hand, in the court, ED denies the visit, saying that Robert Vadra may have tampered with the evidence while traveling abroad. The special court, however, rejected ED's arguments.

Earlier in June, Vadra was allowed to travel to the United States and the Netherlands to pursue health reasons. Robert Vadra faces charges of money laundering in connection with a £ 19million property purchase in London.
