Facebook in Britain complains of being completely duped, Instagram down

In Britain, there have been reports of Facebook and Instagram completely halted. Thousands of Facebook and Instagram users reported that Facebook-Instagram could not be logged in certain areas of Europe, except Britain through social media platform Twitter.

On Friday, thousands of Facebook and Instagram users complained that both platforms were completely blocked. According to a website downgrade report, 66 percent of Facebook users complained that it was not working properly and 23 percent of users complained that they could not login to Facebook.

However, social networking site Facebook and Instagram started working again on Saturday morning. One user stated that Facebook was down across Europe via Twitter, while another user had asked people to check their Facebook status and confirm that it was down. In addition, some other users complained that Instagram was down. But Facebook has not yet reacted to the matter.

Earlier on January 27, Facebook, Instagram, Tinder and HipChat app were also facing complaints of closure. At that time, Facebook had clarified that the problem was due to technical changes, not cyber attacks. Earlier on September 24, 2010, Facebook also came out with news of the closure.
