Congress leader Shiv Kumar 1st Oct. Until judicial detention

Delhi court arrested Karnataka Congress leader DNF for money laundering charges That Shiv Kumar has been sent to 14 days judicial detention till October 1st. Special Judge Ajay Kumar Kuhar had directed ED to take Shiv Kumar to the hospital first.

Special Judge Ajay Kumar said in the verdict that the accused was directed to be sent to judicial detention in the Central Jail Tihar only after considering the hospital and his medical condition.

The accused is sent to judicial detention till October 1st. The court has listed Shiv Kumar's bail plea on Wednesday afternoon.

The judge said that if Shivakumar had to be admitted to hospital, doctors would give his custody to the superintendent of Tihar Jail while discharging him. The court considered the MLA's medical records while sending Shiv Kumar to judicial custody.

The investigating agency claimed that Shiv Kumar's inquiry was not yet completed. He had sought approval for Shiv Kumar's inquiry during judicial detention. Defense lawyers have opposed sending Shivakumar to judicial detention on medical grounds.
