Arriving in Srinagar again, Ajit Dobhal will review the security arrangements

Srinagar, 26 Sep 2019, Thursday

National Sutra Advisor Ajit Dobhal once again visited Jammu and Kashmir where he would review security arrangements and interact with local people and examine them without any problem.

On the fifth of August this year, the Central Government canceled the 370th Article giving special status to Jammu and Kashmir. It has been almost fifty days today. The state still has inherent security. Some restrictions are still in effect. Two former state chief ministers Mehbooba Mufti and Omar Abdullah are still in custody.

Jammu and Kashmir will become a truly Union Territory on October 31, meaning that the Central Government's laws will begin to apply.

Ajit Dobhal visited Jammu and Kashmir even after the Union government canceled the 370th Article and thus spoke to the people. Eat the dishes on the road and guess the situation.

With the cancellation of special status of Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh have now become three separate union territories. Ajit Dobhal and Indian Army Chief Bipin Rawat have visited these areas while the defense minister, Rajnath Sangh, visited Ladakh.

At present some sanctions are in force here but the central government has announced that all sanctions will be gradually lifted.
