For the past several years, there have been cases of forced conversion in Pakistan. Last month, a 15-year-old Christian girl was also forced to adopt a Muslim religion when a Sikh girl was reportedly embraced as a Muslim.

A 15-year-old Christian girl studying in a school in the Punjab province of Pakistan has been forcibly converted. Mukhtar Masih, the father of the girl, who lives about 50 km from Lahore city, has lodged a complaint at the police station and the school principal has been accused of forcibly converting.

After leaving school, the girl did not arrive at her father's house. From the school, he was given the answer to Acharya Salima Bibi girl who took him to the madrasa to convert. The girl's father then checked into all three madrassas and found his own girl at a madrassa.

However, Madrassa employees prevented him from meeting his daughter so he sought police help. Police raided Madrassa and released the girl and shifted her to a shelter home in Sheikhupura. Mukhtar Masih said that Salima Bibi was tempted to embrace Islam and give money against it.

At present, Mukhtar Masih has sought to relocate his daughter to a shelter home instead. Shortly after the abduction of a Sikh girl named Jagjit Kaur, she was converted to Islam and married to a Muslim youth. Jagjit Kaur is currently at Shelter Home, Lahore and has not been sent to his family yet.
