Alia Bhatt will be Sanjay Bhansali's 'Gangubai'

Alia Bhatt is currently working on several films simultaneously. After the 'Inshallah' dabbah with Sanjay Bhansali, Bhansali has signed him for the movie 'Gangubai'.

According to the source, "Bhanshali has confirmed Alia for 'Gangubai'. The news is getting 'confirmed' on social media too. The pre-production work of this film has begun. The movie based on the Bhanashali-directed gangster will be seen in the lead character of 'Gungbai Kotwali'. The official announcement of which will be made on September 7.

Priyanka Chopra was Bhansali's first choice for 'Gugbai'. But because she was busy, the film was moving. Also, Bhanshali wanted to take full advantage of Aaliyah's dates. So he decided to do this film with Alia.

Alia wants to make good use of the dates allotted for 'Inshallah'. Due to the differences with Salman Khan, the film went on to rave and Bhansali started work on other projects.
